Prices below are shown as an “average” of alteration costs in 2021. A more accurate quote will be given when items/garments/fabrics have been reviewed and fitted. There is a $10 minimum so bring as many items as you need to be mended and pricing will adjust from there.

All garments must be clean before being brought in for alterations.
Here is a list of average prices for standard alterations on a variety of garments:
Shorten dress-shirt sleeves: $20
Take in a dress shirt: $20
Hem a skirt or dress: $10-$50
Take in or let out a skirt or pair of pants: $15 (unlined) to $20 (lined) or $25 (with a zipper)
Shorten top-stitched pants: $10
Shorten cuffed pants: $15
Shorten lined pants $15
Shorten lined and cuffed pants: $20
Take in a sheath dress: $45
Restitch a fraying seam: $5
Replace buttons: 50 cents each
Move a button: $2
Add a hook and eye: 50 cents per set
